Hiten's Profile

Hiten is the older brother out of the Thunder Brothers. They are both Thunder Youkai. He is also the more attractive but psychotically violent of the brothers. Hiten is the smarter one of the brothers and initially only has three shards of the Shikon no Tama in his forehead. After his brother is killed he takes Manten's and has five.

Hiten and his brother are first seen taking out a rival army leaving the remaining to think they're on their side. Manten quickly destroys them for that. Hiten has a very short temper. He meets up with his brother (after Manten had kidnapped Kagome) with a female and when he realizes that Manten only got Kagome and not a shard he burns the female to a crisp.

It is rumored that the Thunder Brothers devour pretty girls. Hiten confirms that rumor.Kagome comes up with a scheme to keep from being eaten. She tells the brothers that InuYasha is in love with her and would trade all of his shards for her. He finds out quickly when they meet up with InuYasha it wasn't true but all he really cared about was the shards anyway.

Hiten's weapon is the Raigeki-jin. In battle he uses fiery wheels that hover just below and to the side of his feet. When Manten was killed there was a short emotional scene between the brothers and they show a flashback of their parents. Hiten then takes Manten's shards and gains his ability to shoot lightning out of his mouth. Kagome manages to shoot one of his wheels with the arrow she took out of Manten. Hiten then attacks her with his new attack from his brother. After Hiten attacks Kagome, InuYasha gets really upset and Tetsusaiga's sheath calls for the sword. Inuyasha uses Tetsusaiga to break Raigeki-jin and slice through Hiten. InuYasha kills Hiten who is shocked that he lost to a simple hanyou.
